In January Maria was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative breast cancer, an aggressive form . Requiring six months of chemotherapy followed by surgery in August and possible Radiation after surgery. To preserve her health and recover she will be away from her job for some time, due to it being working close with small children and her immune system is compromised.
